While I’ve been
on this tour, I’ve been writing the next book in the Rocky Bluff P.D. series.
I’ve also been reading chapters from the next in the Deputy Tempe Crabtree
series to the critique group I’ve belonged to for thirty-plus years. I’ll be
doing the final editing soon and send it off to the publisher. And guess what
that means? I have to start planning the promotion.
There is a lot
that can be done on the Internet to let people know about a new book—almost too
much.
Will I do
another blog tour? I don’t know, maybe I’ll come up with something different.
Anyone have any bright ideas?
Of course I’ll
be continuing to promote Dangerous Impulses until that time. I’ll
attend any craft and book fairs that come along, and of course I’ll be at the
annual PSWA conference in July.
I plan to do a
speaking engagement at our local library and anywhere else that I’m invited.
On a personal
note, we have two grandsons getting married this spring, one the last weekend
in May and the other, the first weekend in June. And we’re hoping our
granddaughter can come visit with her new baby.
No matter what,
I’ll be busy, I know. The good thing is that it’s busy with things I love to do
and events I look forward to participating in. We’ve been blessed with a large
family, so there is always something going on. (Anyone who is my friend on
Facebook knows it isn’t always good stuff.)

Thank you, Chester, for hosting me today. Some updates about what I wrote: my granddaughter is here from North Carolina this week--along with her hubby and their 7 month old daughter. Fun stuff.
Others offered to host me after I thought I'd finished setting up my tour--and my last stop will be April 1. After that I'll pick a winner or maybe two for my contest.
I've enjoyed reading your posts on the tour for Dangerous Impulses, Marilyn, but, seriously, I have to ask you a question. What kind of vitamins do you take? Every time I read about all that you do, I am amazed! You are obviously one of the best at multi tasking in the writing business and your energy seems to be limitless. What's your secret?
I take multi-vitamins for seniors and a bunch of other stuff. But believe me, I'm tired by the end of the day. My energy is at a high level in the a.m., but drains away by night time.
It's truly amazing to me how you can get so many things done at the same time, Marilyn!

I used to do a lot more than I do now, but Marilyn doesn't seem to have slowed down a bit. She's like the Energizer Bunny.
Aw Morgan and Chester, I have slowed down--I go like a house afire in the am but my battery starts running out in the afternoon.
Writing two different series' and keeping your readers happy, must be extremely difficult. I don't know how you do it.
Evelyn, it's like wearing two different author hats--when I'm writing the RBPD books, I'm writing for several POVs--in my Deputy Crabtree series, I stick to her POV. I seem to think different for each series. It keeps me happy and I hope the readers are too.
Marilyn, I'm delighted to hear about a new book. Keep up the good work because you sure keep us readers entertained. :)
